A function is a relation in which each input has one and only one output. We can look at functions numerically (a list of coordinates, a table of values, a mapping), algebraically (in an equation) or graphically.

Functions are a major concept in mathematics. They map an input to a corresponding output and they describe important mathematical models. In this video, we explore what makes a function a function and what a function machine is.
